Our Pass/Fail criteria for visual acuity set in the software are the same are those of the UK’s NHS National Screening Committee. It is not possible to change them.
For information we can add the following details:
- Currently the NSC recommendation for passing is equal to or less than 0.2 Logmar in each eye.
- The system uses letter optotypes in a crowded linear LogMAR format with crowding bars to measure visual acuity.
- For colour vision screening we are following the criteria set by the Neitz test.
